What I Like About 8 Dobsonian Telescope?

8 Dobsonian Telescope Review

I love the bright, bold viewing experience that this product provides. It is a great value for money and is easy to adjust the scope. The optics are excellent and I can see Saturn’s rings clearly. Assembling it was also a breeze. All in all, this product has been an amazing addition to my stargazing experience!

What I Don’t Like About 8 Dobsonian Telescope?

This telescope is missing a base opportunity, which is a key factor for its category. Additionally, the quality of the lenses is not up to par and there is no altazimuth scale included. These factors make it difficult to use this product effectively and accurately.

8 Dobsonian Telescope Features

8 Dobsonian Telescope Review

Developed in the 1970s, this Dobsonian-style telescope is an inexpensive solution for bright, detailed visual observing using a simple design. With its large aperture and easy functionality, I have been able to observe faint objects such as nebulae, star clusters and galaxies with ease. The telescope utilizes two mirrors with 94% reflectivity, using borosilicate mirrors coated with quartz, titanium and silicon dioxide for vivid detail.

Sky-Watcher also provides users with a patented Tension Control Handle which allows for easy tension adjustment and steel ball bearings for smooth movement even when the handle is tightened. Additionally, the simple rocker box mount with azimuth Teflon bearings makes it straightforward enough for any beginner to use.

The beefy 2-inch Crayford-style focuser also allows me to take advantage of virtually any eyepiece on the market by using the supplied 1.25-inch adapter. This has enabled me to explore more of the night sky than ever before!

Final Breakdown

After using this product, I rate it a 6 out of 10. This product has some good features, but there are also some areas where it could be improved. The performance is adequate for most tasks, but it can be slow at times. Overall, this product is an acceptable choice for those who don’t need top-of-the-line performance or features. It’s not perfect, but it does offer a decent value for its price point.
